TIMTRA Poultry Farm Limited is a privately owned social enterprise farm located at Kakoni, Vumba, Busika Town council, 33Km,North of Kampala,Gayaza-Zirobwe Road.The company was established with a sole aim of reducing poverty, improving income,and nutrition through economic activities, capacity building in regenerative agriculture,job creation, and revenue generation;was incorporated on the August 2nd,2023 by Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB). TIMTRA operates a regenerative farm model that aims to address unsustainable food production, environmental conservation and community development challenges.The farm leverages a unique integration of microfinance for accessible financing, Black Soldier Fly Larvae waste to feed technology for reduced food waste and lower feed costs,and REFLECT adult education methodology for farmer education and community engagement.
