Ope Farms is a certified organic farm which started it’s agricultural production in earnest in 2015 to consciously farm safe and healthy foods. The journey has been interesting and things have greatly improved with capacity building around the world. In 2019, our turmeric passed five international standards. Our farm has been featured on BBC Inside Africa and France 24. Our founder, Olusola Sowemimo has been a Speaker at the West African Organic Conference, African Organic Conference and would be speaking at the World Organic Conference in 2021 having been postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic. She was also awarded the Organic Farmer & Processor 2019 by the EOA (Ecological Organic Agriculture) We do contract farming. Our clients include supermarkets, juice & smoothie bars, sandwich companies and we run a weekly Family Basket with a database of over 300 customers.
