D'Farma Ventures Limited addresses critical challenges in Cameroon’s plantain sector, including climate change, limited access to quality planting materials, and high post-harvest losses, which contribute to poverty and food insecurity. We empower small-scale farmers in the South West region by providing biofortified plantain plantlets and sustainable farming practices like mycorrhizal fungi integration, efficient drip irrigation, and the use of disease-repellant plants. Our company covers the entire plantain value chain—from seedling production to processing plantain bunches into gluten-free flour, cookies, and custard—ensuring high-quality, climate-resilient products.
