Freshrite Investments P/L (FI) is a Zimbabwean based company which bought a 70-hectare piece of virgin land, in 2017 though farming operations commenced in 2019. At the beginning, FI has now decided to focus on chillies and garlic production. Funds permitting FI intends to establish an agro-industrial hub in this less developed rural/farming community and expand into Aquaponics/Aquaculture and goat production. FI intends to process and package the fish and garlic produce to create a strong brand. This will help create employment for youths in the area and be a driver of economic development.
