About Company

Karim Global Initiatives for Sustainability (K-GIS) is a youth-led social enterprise based in Karim Lamido, Taraba State, Nigeria, committed to promoting environmental sustainability, climate-smart agriculture, and clean energy solutions. Our flagship project processes livestock waste into biogas for clean cooking and organic fertilizer to improve soil health. This innovation addresses multiple local challenges, including environmental pollution from unmanaged animal waste, deforestation caused by firewood use, and high costs of chemical fertilizers for smallholder farmers. K-GIS works closely with rural communities, livestock farmers, and households to raise awareness on climate change adaptation and the benefits of sustainable resource management. Through training, advocacy, and practical solutions, we are building resilient agricultural systems while creating economic opportunities.
