The survey was carried out to compare the efficiency of traditional and modern maize storage techniques among farmers in guinea and derived savanna, Nigeria. A multistage sampling procedure was used in the selection of 400 active maize farmers, consisting of 200 respondents for each of the storage techniques in the off season of 2022 planting season. Copies of a well-structured questionnaire and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) were used to collect the cross-sectional data used for the study.
